Since switching from BT to vodafone, I've been having trouble with my Xbox One being unable to find the NAT type. I've spoken to vodafone support twice, and they gave me a static IP address and set up port forwarding. But I'm still finding that I need to restart the console several times before it will register the NAT type as open, and sometimes it just won't do it no matter what I try.
I realise this problem has been reported on this forum before, but no solution has been posted, so just checking if anyone has since found one before I give up and switch to another provider.

Hey @Rachelcw Have you tried updating the settings by following these steps 👇
- Navigate to your router login page.
- Log in to your router using the required credentials.
- Navigate to the UPnP menu on your router.
- Enable UPnP.
- Save your changes.
- Open the Settings app on your Xbox One.
- Select the Network tab.
- Select the Test NAT type tile.
This should allow you to set your NAT type to open and get you back online in no time 🎮

Hi Mark, thanks for responding.
Unfortunately upnp was already enabled, so that has not solved the problem.

An update for anyone who has the same problem:
After multiple calls to tech support, including 2 referrals to third line, Vodafone finally admitted that they could not fix the problem. They released me from the contract without charge. I have now switched to Sky and everything is fine.
