issues downloading from Microsoft servers via vodafone full fibre

I have recently switched over to vodafone full fibre 900mb broadband. I have a small issue when connecting to the mocrosfot download servers to install product software such as teams and Microsoft 365. no matter what device I use (Dell laptop on win 11, latest MacBook Pro and my old windows 10 laptop)  I can't download any software as the vodafone router appears top be blocking it. I have disabled all my firewalls, antivirus etc and no difference is made. interestingly, if I use my iPhone to tether to either device and connect via my 4 or 5g data I can download from the Microsoft servers. I am therefore assuming the problem lies within the vodafone router configuration somewhere. any help on this would be appreciated as I should be able to download via my full fibre connection

Have you tried changing your DNS settings in case it's anything to do with Vodafone's content controls?

I. haven't and to be honest I'm not sure what to change them to.

Try 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 (Cloudflare and Google)

If changing the dns servers doesn't work try disabling IPv6.

I've noticed with Vodafone's dual stack if IPv6 is active IPv4 seems to die.
