I am in Australia and have an old PAYG sim card in my phone that hasnt been used for 14 months. I need to start using it again.
Can I reactivate the SIM? If I need to get a new number that would be fine.

Not usually @Andrew0267
After 180 days plus a further 90 days of non usage a Payg sim is de activated and the number quarantined to be re used at a later date.
There is a very slim time frame to get it back.
The added issue is that your not in the Uk latched to the Vodafone Network to get it back too.
The Vodafone Social Media Teams via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries can check and clarify.
I wish you all the best with this situation.

Hi @Andrew0267
The old SIM would have been disconnected from the network, and will be impossible to retrieve and this is going to mean a new PAYG SIM and a different number.
With the SIM needing to connect to the local UK network to fully activte, you will need to wait until you return to the UK, Vodafone will also only send to a UK address. Follow this link to get your free SIM Vodafone PAYG Free SIM
edited in response from @Andrew0267 I am glad my suggestion for getting a new SIM helped with your question.
