I placed my order on 13 April, got a confirmation email with a T- order number. It hasn't arrived. Online chat were no help, social media said that I must have placed it with a third party (I didn't, ordered it from Vodafone website) as they don't recognise the order number.

I'd like my £10 back, please.

Follow @Effie s reply in the link @caitlyn130 and speak to the social team through  Twitter or Facebook social channels and they will investigate this for you.

As I said, I have contacted social media who apparently cannot help.

I'm not surprised your not impressed at the sim not arriving especially as you've topped up by £10 @caitlyn130

Personally I opt to order the free Payg sim card and then do not top up at that time so if it fails to turn up / gets lost in the post I'm not out of pocket or I pick one up from a shop usually costing 99pence. i.e £1 shop , newsagents or petrol station etc.

If customer services are unable to help then put it in writing here Complaints/code-of-practice. Although this process can take up to 8 weeks sometimes to be investigated and concluded.

You could also have a word with your card issuer / banks customer services to see if they can help.

Another option could be to order a free Payg sim card as I've mentioned above and not top up or one for 99p, and then once activated ask Vodafone Customer Support if they'll credit that sim card with £10 as a Goodwill Gesture. It can't harm to ask.

I wish you all the best.  :Smiling:

Thanks, I'm just going to write it off as a lesson learnt, by from a different provider and steer well clear of Vodafone in future.

Hi @caitlyn130

Vodafone would have sent an email confirmation of the order, if you still have this send the Social Team a copy in a new message.  You should also have the transaction on your bank statement, remove the personal information and send that to them.

I've sent this to them. They claim to not be able to find the order number and say it's not one of Vodafone's and I must have ordered it from a third party, despite clearly being able to see the Vodafone email address that it came from. So as far as they are concerned, they cannot help.

I feel like I've explained this all pretty well. Is there anything you need clarification on?
