Porting out of vodafone

Left for Three on 10th June, got PAC code and passed it on. Now 21st July and I still haven't got the number and my little nokia 8 with vodafone sim still receives texts and calls. Three says the PAC code is wrong....but vodafone have stopped my account and don't recognise the number. I left because of frustration with the system and customer service. And so it goes on...

Hi @lifeinthehedge

The problem now is you will have left Vodafone and three are your provider.  You will need to take this up with three, they will have to raise a split porting request on your behalf with Vodafone to make sure all your porting files were correct.

Three will get this solved for you, as your provider, they will be responsible for getting your number fully on the network.

Hi, Thanks for the response. It was Three on a  lengthy online chat who told me the PAC code was wrong and I would have to take it up with vodafone!  I'll get back onto Three and try that. I feel there's more than a bit of 'passing the buck' going on but I suppose it wasn't the best time to switch providers.

Hi @lifeinthehedge I appreciate this must frustrating for you. I'd recommend popping us a message over Facebook or Twitter here, and we'll be able to locate your old account and check the PAC code for you.

Thank you, I'll do that.
