Receiving calls in Spain

I have a PAYG1 SIM with credit and wondered if I can use it in an iPhone in Spain to receive calls and texts without incurring any charges or needing to buy an Extra?

I have a Spanish SIM and access to Wi-Fi for all my other needs.

You’ll need an Extra to use data .If you only want to receive calls and texts, you won’t need an Extra.

To avoid data charges turn off mobile data and data roaming and only use WiFi.
