Roaming in India on PAYG

I am after a data roaming sim for just 10 days while travelling to India.

I have purchased a PAYG sim on this bundle

£10 Bundle

7GB data (was 5GB)
Unlimited minutes
Unlimited texts

So can I use this credit to get a Around the World XTRA package? Also how good are the connection in major cities in India while roaming? Any additional charges for PAYG other than the ROAMEXTRA charge? That is £15 for 8 days and £25 for 15 days.

Welcome to the Forum.

 

The bundle you are referring to would take care of your UK use.  In addition you would need extra credit to pay the one off charge for Around the World Extra you are referring to.  This information is here: Roaming Charge Checker 

 

If you phone is unlocked consider a local SIM.  There is Vodafone India for your roaming and it's just a case of trying the network, you are able to roam on any network where you are able to get a connection.
