Vodafone unsuuported carrier with PlayStation

For years I have been able to pay for purchases on PlayStation with my Vodafone account however it now seems that the network is no longer a supported carrier whilst rivals such as o2 EE and Three still are. 

Is this a short term error that will be fixed in the coming weeks or not?

If this change is to be permanent Vodafone is no longer the network for me

I've not seen any news that this has changed.

I'm aware that Sony imposed a £10 limit spending cap.
