Why Does Vodafone Steal Your Money?

Annoyed_2023
1: Seeker

When I topped up with £20, this was successful and I received a text from Vodafone at 12:12 confirming this.

At 12:13 I received another text telling me my credit/balance is now £0.00.

Why does Vodafone steal PAYG customer's money?

Do they hope people give up claiming it back, and they keep it?

Vodafone won't have stolen your top up @Annoyed_2023 , I am certain what has happened is the credit has been converted into a Big Value Bundle. Calling 2345 or checking the Application will confirm the bundle.

The trick is to make sure you have opted out of a BVB before topping up through your online account or Vodafone will automatically take the credit for a bundle, this is done through the online the online account, Application or by calling 2345 and following the prompts.

The bundle won't kick in until midnight, if you don't want the bundle and would prefer PAYG 1, use live chat or call 191 for account access, they will be able to cancel the bundle.   There is also the Social Team here: Contact Us

There is further information on this link: PAYG
