Hi just wondering has anyone done annual upgrade recently since you can pay for a phone for 3yr now? I can annual upgrade soon I know the t&c are for the same monthly price or more but now they do a 3yr plan option was wondering if you can choose that instead of a 2yr so your contract would be cheaper. Thanks

Thank you for your reply. Does that mean annual upgrade you can now get a phone for 3yr. So for example I pay £70pm can I now pay say £50 or does it still need to be £70 to get a annual upgrade

Hi @RLM123
With EVO you get the flexibility of being able to own the latest phone and be able to upgrade any time after 12 months by trading in your previous phone towards the cost of the latest phone. You will be given a device plan credit agreement and an airtime Extra Plan where you will be able to set the upfront cost and contract length over 12 - 36 months period.
The more you put towards the upfront cost will mean a smaller monthly outlay.

That’s great. As I was expecting to have to get another 2yr contract for £70 to be able to annual upgrade

Have we actually had any official confirmation that Vodafone will credit check an existing customer for an upgrade?

Yup they do and you can still get declined for an upgrade.

Hi guys 😊 If your current credit check has expired when you upgrade or the upgrade takes you over your threshold limit of your existing check then we will complete another credit check. Hope this helps!

Thank you for confirming it. Is it right that now your annual upgrade doesn’t need to be the same monthly price? It can now be less with EVO
