I moved to Vodafone and received my phone on 29th November. But I have been billed from 28th November. Messaged online asking for this to be corrected, but no reply received except to ask how well Vodafone did with my query. How do I sort this?

In the grand scheme of things being billed from the 28/11/20 instead of the 29/11/20 i.e one day shouldn't make a big difference but I appreciate your wanting things to be right.
You should have been billed from when you reviewed the Vodafone Sim Card not in particular the phone.
Perhaps give the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries a try @DBStar or ring 191.

Vodafone charge midnight to midnight the following day, therefore you will be charged midnight from the 28th to midnight , 29th as one day and will have been correctly charged,
