Hi, since Monday 29 July, I have calls sporadically been forwarded to voicemail without the phone ringing. After going to voicemail I am getting a missed call notification.
I have not noticed any pattern but it is almost one call in every 3 or 4.
I have an iphone xs but I don't think it is a handset issue, since a friend of mine is having the excat same issue with a different brand.

Hi @csarant
The first thing to do is to make sure there are no network issues at the location, if you follow the link below, you will see the self help tips and a pro forma to complete. If you copy and paste the results back on the thread, this will give Vodafone an example of the issue and something to go on.
The other suggestion is to try a new replacement SIM from a Vodafone Store, if you go this route you will need to take some photo identity to prove you are the account holder.
Vodafone do not make a charge for a replacement SIM.

I am in the city of London, thus no signal problems, except if it network conjestion issues.
Does the SIM change incur any cost?

No. However, if two if you are experiencing problems in the same area, and with different devices, network congestion is a distinct possibility.

We are not in the same area.
We are 200 miles apart
In any case thank you very much!

I'm not sure if this will help
How-do-I-increase-the-time-before-a-call-goes-to-voicemail.
Also as a process of elimination can you try your sim card in another phone ?

Don't forget to check if the physical Ring / Silent / Active button is set to Silent mode on the iPhone.
