Hi
I keep being sent Vodafone marketing messages and they say to stop them send "STOP SMS" to 9774.
When I do this the messaging app says "Can't send message with Vodafone - Error 0 " or "Failed" depending on whether I use Google Messages or the Samsung messaging app. Sending SMS to other numbers works fine.
I checked https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Pay-as-you-go/Phone-stopped-sending-texts-says-failed-to-send-messag... and my message centre number is correct. I don't have any call bars on my account.
Any ideas?

Hey @mr-b I hope you're doing well! We're not aware of any issues with the STOP texts for marketing preferences but if we hear of more people having the same problem we will absolutely raise it for investigation.
In the meantime if you want to change your preferences, you can do so by going to your My Vodafone App > Settings > Privacy > Marketing Preferences.

Tx Steph but I see no Privacy options under My Vodafone App Settings. There are two options - App and Account - but I can't see any Privacy options under either.

If you scroll to the right under Settings you should then see the Privacy option @mr-b

I'm glad you found it @mr-b I'm sorry it wasn't more obvious, I've fed this back to the App team to see if we can get it moved or made more clear that there are more tiles in the Settings. If you need anything else, do let us know!
