I was wondering if you could offer some advice on a situation I am currently experiencing. I took out a Vodafone contract recently and over the past week of usage, I have been getting less than 1Mbps download speed whilst using 4G which is obviously disappointing, I am still in the 14 day cooling off period so I am considering cancelling my contract and moving back to EE where I was getting really good speeds and coverage constantly.
I do have one concern in that I have already ported my number from EE so was wondering what would happen to my number once I cancel my contract with Vodafone? I would like to keep my number if possible as I have had it for a while - would it be a case of Vodafone being able to issue me with a PAC despite me effectively closing my account, or would I need to port it out before cancelling my contract?
