Hello
I have recently found out on my credit reports that i have a default against my name from vodaphone for £17 missed payments.
I cancelled my direct debit with voda and switched network as I was getting a work phone paid for and was never told I needed to pay anymore. I remember the customer service agent saying the same on the phone. This was back in 2018.
I am confused why I was never told to pay anything and have just found out now. I unfortunatley can't get a mortgage anymore which is frustrating just because of £17?
Can someone help me with this please as customer service number doesn't seem to have any options for previous customers

Hi @Princeydg
This is going to be needed to be investigated to check if the default was warranted or not.
Please contact the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.
Link back to your thread here including your forum username so your not having to repeat yourself.
Unfortunately account access isn't available via this forum and the Credit File Specialist Team are not customer facing so the Social Media Team's will collate your information and pass that to them.
I know how damaging a default can be from my own personal experience so I wish you all the best with this.
