I was with vodafone years ago and had a My Vodafone account. I have rejoined and have a new My Vodafone account.
How do I delete my old username/account? No one on the chat seems to be able to do it even though I have wasted over two hours on chat trying to get people to do it.

It is a little unclear what you are trying to do.
When you left Vodafone and terminated the contract, your online account would have been closed and any further access rejected.
If you are trying to open a new online account and set up My Vodafone, try using an alternative user name, password and email address. Any information associated with a previous account may be getting kicked out and you need to use fresh new details for the new account.

My old account hasn't been terminated! I can login using my old username and password, no phone number is attached but I want that username deleted. I spoke to three people now on chat saying they have deleted it but it isn't deleted.

@topmike999 - You can uninstall the My Vodafone app from your phone. ☺️
If you’d like to completely delete your My Vodafone account, then we can do this for you.

Hi, I cancelled my Vodafone contract and moved to another network back in March. However, I’m still able to log into my Vodafone account. I have no devices or contracts acctached to the account anymore but would now like my account to be deleted. Can you arrange for this to be deleted? Thanks.

@jamie1094 We'd keep a record of an account for six years. If you did want to find out more information on having your account deleted, you need to contact us here.
