If I wanted to pay off a part of a device plan early would I still have to pay it again on the day it's due or would it go to the next payment date

HI @Ambermkfranklin - firstly welcome to the Vodafone community.
As far as I'm aware if you wish to pay off part of your device plan, the remaining balance is then recalculated over the original device plan contract length and your monthly repayment will be lower per month.
Therefore you would still pay the following month's payment but it would be reduced depending on how much extra you paid off, if that makes sense.
Having just taken out a device plan myself it was a question I wasn't sure about either but found my answer here
Hope it helps

Hello @Ambermkfranklin
Paying an extra amount will reduce the monthly amount you'll pay over the contractual term but won't shorten the contractual term i.e the amount of actual months the contract will run until it's complete.
If you paid an additional payment then you'd still pay as normal when it became due.
i.e you wouldn't skip a month.
