Do 30 days contracts (SIM only) require credit check?

I believe the title says it all.

 

As much as I can understand that 12/18/24 mo contracts, especially when the come with a phone, require a credit check.

But how about with the 30 days contracts? which seems like fancy PAYG plans. Do they require a credit check?

Pay Monyhly contracts including sim only options require a credit check.

It's only PAYG account types that do not require a credit check.

If you are considering PAYG take a look at Voxi here: Voxi . Still Vodafone and as you can see no credit check.

While it is true you don't get a handset with SIM only plans, you do get advanced "calling credit". One could easily run up a bill of hundreds or even thousands just by making a few calls or sending some texts.
