I have a existing contract with Vodafone that comes to and end in Nov this year. I've seen a offer via a third party that I want to take now.
What's the easiest way of going about this?
I'm happy to pay my early termination fee and would like to keep my number.
My thoughts were to start with a new number (additional line) then have to pay an additional £25 admin fee to change my number back to the old one - is that right?

If you are going through a third party @Dee187 to get the number you wish to keep on the new contract, the quickest way is to simply port out the number to any other network on PAYG, you can get a PAC by texting PAC' to 65075 or through your online account here: How do I change my switching code to a PAC or STAC? , when the number moves repeat the process and follow and move the number to the new third party contract by following this link Keep My Number Alternatively, ask Vodafone to transfer the number to PAYG, this usually takes 30 days to complete.
At a guess you are on an Evo contract, if you pay off the device part of the contract, this will end the airtime part of the contract and this will continue on a month to month 30 day contract until you cancel or port out the number. If your device loan and airtime are still in commitment you will be asked to pay an early termination charge. The best thing to do is to refer to your online account and Application these will give the amount owing on the device part of the contract. See here FAQ's here: Evo
You can also text INFO' to 85075 to find your early termination charge.

Hi @Dee187
You could also call 191 and choose the Thinking of Leaving option which will get you through to the Vodafone Retentions Department.
Tell them which offer you've seen and have screenshots ready to support this ,and then see what they can do for you.
Would you let us know how you get on.
I wish you all the best. Take care. 😎

Just seen this - I'll give them a call tomorrow.
Looking at Vodafone's current deals online and considering I also have a 30% corporate discount (might have changed to 20% this year), the third party deal is still better value.
The only downside is they have no stock yet of the model I ordered, wait times are currently 1-2 weeks.

What is the third party offer price and what is the official new customer price at Vodafone?
What is it for (i.e. Minutes, Texts, Data)?
