I have just discovered that any SMS messages I send, longer than 160 characters, are split into several shorter messages.
There is an option in my SMS app (Chomp) "Split Long SMS Messages" and this is currently ticked.
If I untick this then I believe the messages will be sent as one message, but, have a suspicion that it will now go as MMS and not SMS.
I am on a pay-monthly plan that has unlimited texts, minutes and plenty of data.
Will I get charged for sending such messages by MMS?

Hi @Mysteryman
You will be charged 35p for each message over 160 characters. There is an extra your can add for unlimited MMS at £3.50 per month here: Extras
