I would appreciate it if someone could let me know if it’s a real email address?

Your correct to be wary about an email your not familiar with.

Customer services on 191 , Live Chat or the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries can confirm if it's Vodafone but for now if the body of the email contains any links down click on them
