January upgrade options (Contract)

Hi

I am due a free upgrade on 27th Jan this year.  I am currently on the plan 'Red 20GB.

I am keen to see what my options are come Jan 27th in the upgrade, however it looks as though you cannot see the options yet unless you commit to an early upgrade.

Is there a way to identify what my options will be come Jan 27th?

I currently have an Iphone SE and would be keen to have a phone of a similar size; any advice appreciated (i'm keen to stay with Apple).

Thanks for looking into it - appreciated. I do manage to also get a discount through my work; i'll review fully at renewal time and call retentions and see what they say.

@collinsc if you get employers discount then make sure to stay with Vodafone direct as its not available on contracts taken out with independents

If you get a discount though your work @collinsc make sure you apply the code before doing the upgrade, the Terms have changed.

Even if you go through a third party the money you save can outweigh the Advantage discount so work checking.

However you proceed the balls in your court @collinsc 

Your in a good bargaining position when your contract is ending to negotiate.

I think you've had lots of support in this thread and lots of digging online in the forum past posts  and on the Vodafone Support Page's.

Buy the iPhone direct from Apple at 0% financing, and get a SIM only deal through a network.

I got:

Apple iPhone 12 Mini 64GB

with 40GB data

for 36 months

Upfront £29

£15 ppm for phone

35% off air time plan = £17.55 incl VAT for 24 months

for £33.25 a month

I think it sounds a good deal?

This is without trade in, so i should get £70 for my iPhone 8 from voda or perhaps more on ebay.

I could have saved more i appreciate by paying more upfront or by buying the phone outright, but i dont have the cash right now to spend too much.
