Ive heard this everyday since Tuesday 29th June. Tried to do a sim swap from a Motorola Razr 5g to a new Samsung Fold 2 5g Sim swap failed and has been messed up by vodafone till today. They have had me chase to a store thats 32mile away for a sim on Thursday afternoon to spend two hours there and leave with no resolution. To go back again this morning Saturday 3rd July. collect a new sim and after 5hours thats still not active. Been without all mobile services since Tuesday. Im a Vunerable Cancer patient and vodafone think its exceptible to leave someone with no comms for so long. The hospital and doctors contact me on this number i have. NHS apps are logged with this number. I cant add apps to new device because of twoway verification code going to a number that they turned off. Now im sure a tech team dont need to keep telling me 24hrs every day from tuesday till today and then told this morning it could be 24-48hrs for this sim to activate??
So it was pointless going to the store to fetch a sim card to leave me a further 2 days with no service.
So far they offered £40 sompensation and that wont cover the time and fuel wasted running around listening to there on the phone tech team. This morning Vodafone store in Lichefield Staffordshire said This sim is now active and will be ready to use. Put it in a phone you should get the messages read and delete turn the phone off and back on again. Since that sim was put in the phone its still showing no signal its still not activated and im still being told to wait another 24hrs plus.
They wont give me a pac code to leave the network. They want £450 to terminate a contract that ends in December but this is there mess and i should be entitled to leave under a no serivce guarrantee they offer.
They then say over the phone what would you like us to do. I tell them and they go back on there word again.
Ive asked for Call logs and chat logs they refuse to give them. I will be taking this to a solicitor, Im sure the case will get into process as i may pass away before the end of it.
There not in default taking your service away but if you cancel your Direct Debit your in default. they send a bailifts out. Id like to see the look on a bailifts face as he reads i have till xmas to live and they cant give me service to keep me in touch with medical staff. They will spend money trying to get there money but no bailifts will try taking anything off me because i will be dead before its resolved. [Removed]
