Roaming problem

Hi , I've got a problem , I'm in EU right now and roaming isn't working properly , I've got data can send text messages but no one can reach me from UK and I can't reach any one from UK either , apart from landline numbers, I can make calls to local numbers from country I'm in but they can't phone me back , tried everything so far with changing phones and local network providers, used that card and phone before in EU and never had any problems , any ideas?

It would be worth having a word with an agent on Live Chat or the Vodafone Social Media Team's to have a look at your account to to rule out that side @Augim79

Unfortunately it could be the foreign network too which Vodafone UK understandably will have no control over.

Hi @Augim79 

You don't mention the country you are visiting or how long it has been since you were last in the UK.  

Just to check callers to your number are using the prefix +44 (UK country code) dropping the first 0 and you are using the method calling back to the UK.  Also, check if received calls are reaching your voicemail.

If you have access to the Application try going into your bars, there are bars for calls for international calling and receiving, make sure this is off, also try re adding and removing the restriction.

Tried both +44 and 044 , strange thing is I can make calls to UK landlines but not to mobiles , when someone is trying to reach me it says  that I'm unreachable in German  but I'm in Poland , my wife is on talktalk ( which uses Vodafone )and has the same problem .

A difficult one for sure @Augim79 

Understandably, you have already tried everything, to stop the phone roaming onto the German network.

Have you tried doing a manual roam and select a Polish network ?  If you have automatic selected on the connection settings change this to manual.  In Poland you should have Orange, Play, Plus and T Mobile, see which one gives a connection.

Yeah , funny thing  there's no German network around I'm like 70miles away from the border  , don't know how I'm getting this messages in German , when I switch to automatically it connects me to Plus , which is the only one working , when I try manually to orange or play I get the "network unavailable" message ( it shows full 4g and 3g  coverage) ,ant T-Mobile says "forbidden" .
