Dont worry it's just a run around from Vodafone. At the end they will tell you the same thing... We can not get you/retrieve the number.its a waste of time.

Same issue here. I went to use my phone today and suddenly discovered I had no service. Since ringing it from a landline fails and so does topping up online, I can only assume it's been disconnected. No idea when though as I got no warning and I use Pay As You Go specifically because I only use my phone in emergencies.

Hello Vodafone team,
I have a issue. My cherished number which I’ve had on Vodafone for 11 years has experienced a “failed transfer” to Three. When I call thee they say they have not transferred it in. When I speak to Vodafone, I’m told the number is not showing on the system. If it was a failed transfer the number must be with Vodafone. I’d like some help to getting it reinstated in my Vodafone account. It needs backend admins to do this.
