Roaming charges since the changes

Can I add Vodafone's roaming extras to my contract later on or does it need to be done at the start? I am currently due an upgrade and was looking at the new roaming charges that accompanied brexit. It seems Vodafone have zones A, B, C and D. I plan on travelling while I work from January onwards and was wondering if you can add the travel zones as a bolt-on later. If not I will add them at the start as it costs £2 extra a month for zones A, B and C.

Hey there @ferio23 👋 Your roaming costs and options will really all depend on where you're travelling to - you can find general information on our Global Roaming page. For more tailored information, just pop your destination in our Charge Checker 🌍

If your plan doesn't have inclusive roaming in our Europe Zone (Zone B), then it will cost you £2 a day to roam in our European destinations. You can reduce this cost with one of our European Roaming passes, available as £8 for 8 days or £15 for 15 days.

To add one of these Extras to your plan, just text 8DAYEUROPE or 15DAYEUROPE to 40506 free from your Vodafone mobile. This does not include picture messages, premium calls or texts.

You can check your current plan details on your My Vodafone app - head to the Your Plan tile on the main page and then scroll down to the 'includes' section 🙂 When looking at new packages, then you can view this when looking at what the plan includes during the online journey, or our sales agents can check it for you - this will then be inclusive for the full duration of your contract with us.
