recently i purchased a new phone and contract with vodafone from carphone warehouse uk (so 2 sims both vodafone)
this was to replace my old contract with them as i thought
i rang vodafone to ask to port my old number to new sim
i was informed because i used a 3rd party seller this is not possible unless i made my old sim from monthly to payg...which takes 30 days then i could port the number to my new sim
i did this and it took 30 days.
last fri 30th dec at 11 in the morning i completed the online form to change a number from payg to contract
i got email confirmation at 1154am soooooo before the 4pm deadline for the day BUT a friday with a weekend and a bank holiday to follow.
so ive left the phones till tuesday 3rd jan 23 even right up till midnight.
my numbers still havent changed.....any ideas or will i have to phone up again

A long shot @tinahea but try a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and then back On.
If this does not work then as account access isn't available via the forum please re contact customer services on 191 or Live Chat.
Or the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Facebook Messenger or Twitter DM > Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries.

Hi been soft resetting the phone throughout the day and night every few hours....been through ports with other mobile companies so seen the change in the past....other companies were easier though.
I've reached out on twitter great at 1st...asked me security questions....but now for several hours they haven't responded ...lol ..great

I would recommend logging into your online account, if this shows as pay monthly the account would have changed @tinahea
You don't mention the SIM you are using, Vodafone would most likely have changed the original Vodafone SIM from PAYG to pay monthly.

it seems ive now been ported over........twitter chat was errrrrr not very helpful asking fo details multiple times.
in reality it took 3 clear working days to port NOT the 24 hrs the confirmation email suggested....
yes there was a bank holiday in there but i havnt included that in total with weekend and bank hol it was 6 days to port...
dare i suggest vodafone change there advise on the confirmation email to read port will eventually happen....
