I bought sim only deal and received Sim yesterday. I put the sim in my phone and used the pac code to transfer my number which will happen tomorrow using the number showing in my phone.
Upon logging into my account I discovered there was a different number on there. Then when I called Vodafone they said the name on this sim was not mine.
So it looks like I have been sent wrong sim. Vodafone put this into fraud investigation when I mentioned I received a text message about broadband installation. The person who this sim belongs to must have ordered broadband too. To me this does not look like fraud but a mistake on Vodafone part. I have been told that fraud investigation will be in touch within 14 days. I would like this sorted asap and am worried I will lose my old number. Any advice welcome.

Hi @shabana12 Thanks for posting. I can imagine how concerning this situation must be and appreciate the importance of getting it as sorted as quickly as possible. Generally speaking, if an active fraud investigation is present we need to wait until it's complete before we can take any action. That being said, we can still look into it and chase it up where possible. Please pop my team a message of one our social channels found here and let them know you've posted on Community.
