Hi there,

 

Anyone else had this issue?

 

BLUF: Trade-in accepted by Vodafone app but still receiving texts telling me to complete Trade-In within 48hrs on app.

 

Just before Christmas I upgraded from a Samsung Note10+ 5G to a Samsung S21 Ultra, I selected the Trade-in option which reduces down the cost by £21 a month on the 24 Month contract. I completed the Trade-In tool on Vodafone app and received the "Congratulations! Your phone has passed all our checks... etc" screen.

 

But then yesterday I received a text reminding me that I still need to complete some Trade-in checks and have 48 hours to complete the checks otherwise the saving will removed from my contract, I've now done the Trade-in checks a further two times and i even though it passes i have no idea whether a trade-in return pack is on its way or if something somewhere is going wrong and I'll end up losing the deal?

 

I have used Tobi which then directs me to calling 191 and after hours of waiting no one picks up (likely the time of year with reduced staffing)

 

So not entirely sure where to go next, can i contact the trade-in team directly somehow?

Customer services via Live Chat,  191 or the Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries will be able to clarify the status of your order and account status @Wiggy59 

Going from recent posts the Returns Bag look to be delayed.

You have 14 days to get the phone back to Vodafone.

If you have a local Vodafone Highstreet Store you can hand it in there.

I'll give this option a whirl in the first instance, cheers for the speedy reply!

 

Failing that, i will look into the other methods of contacting Vodafone,
