I have just opted to upgrade my current contract and have chosen to trade in my phone.
My new phone, S23 Ultra, is new to be delivered on Friday 17th however can I drop my trade in phone to the store prior to receiving my new phone?
I don't need to transfer my data over so not sure if there would be a valid reason to wait when I have already committed and signed the agreement?

You have 14 days to return the trade in device @Chris1012 , this is the same for cancelling the new contract. In the unlikely event there is an issue with the new phone or contract, it is recommended not to return your old device until you are completely satisfied.

My issue is more so with the fact that Vodafone's current lead time is 14 days to process the trade in and for me to receive the cash back and in the event they refuse to honour the full amount stated on the app, I would not be able to cancel the contract.
I would ideally like to send in my trade in phone now so the process of trade in can begin and therefore if for what ever reason I had an issue with the value received back, I can have enough time to cancel my contract within the 14 days cooling off period.
