Hi Folks,
Let me tell you my history before trying to put the main question.
I have with the current place where I work about 20 sim's with a wholesaler/partner of Vodafone, so due to prices and extra charges I've decided to go with Vodafone directly, all good here so far being few months with new sim's no issues here.
Then I decided to start the migration from the current provider to Vodafone, so I've got two new contracts to start moving the employees one by one.
Now, this is where the fun starts, I got the PAC code from the current provider + the new sim cards from Vodafone.
I then open the browser to https://www.vodafone.co.uk/webcenter/portal/myvodafone/aportin when I was trying to do the process it comes back with an error:
Sorry, we can’t complete the switch online

So what I've done was to go to chat and speak about this, all good here been pointed that the person on the chat cannot do this and this will have to be done by a dedicated team and he scheduled a call and someone supposed to call me within 24 hours, a week later someone calls me, a week later! and he is asking me to go to the above web page, explaining to him very clearly that I have done this process again and it doesn't work, he puts me on hold while he speaks with that special team and he comes back insisting to go on the page, keep explaining that it doesn't work as the number is already on Vodafone and this will probably need to be an internal transfer, he puts me on hold again to speak with the team while he is refusing to transfer me to that team which can do this port in of my number, then he asking me to go to the chat to resolve the issue, this made no sense to me as from the chat is from where I had to go to the phone and now he returns me to the chat.
I have also called quite a few times and each time it is impossible to get connected to a live person, good job here Vodafone.
My question to you all, does anyone know how can I keep my existing number which is on Vodafone with an existing Vodafone Partner/Wholesaler customer, and transfer that to my business account? (I have PAC Code)

Hi @cosminbegu
You can't port Vodafone to Vodafone, a PAC is only for migrating between networks. You would need to port out the number to any other network on consumer PAYG, and port back in to your business account this should only take 24 hours to complete.
If the number is on Corporate, this will be on a different system and you would need to use an internal PAC.

It is possible for Vodafone to do this but it's not easy and does rely on you finding the right person to help.
The easiest solution as per the reply above is to port out and back in so I'd recommend
- Get a PAYT sim from EE, 3 or O2 (99p in Tescos or order a free one from their website)
- Activate it and perhaps register it if required (I had to do this to log into My EE and generate a PAC)
- Port in your current Vodafone number using your PAC, if you do this before 15:00 then it'll transfer the following working day
- Once it's live, generate a PAC from new network and then port back to Vodafone on your new line
I say this is easiest route as it looks like you've already been a week at this!
