Upgrading

Hi, I recently left sky mobile and joined vodafone uk. I tried to upgrade my mobile with sky and was declined even though I have been with sky for a while, after doing a bit of searching online it says that sky credit check u even for an upgrade which I don't understand as I passed credit check and paid my bills on time so I'm just wondering if someone can confirm if vodafone do the same thing ? I know they do for evo plans but I would just be sticking with the usual 24 months contract https://mobdro.onl/. The contracted I have at the moment is the 24 months unlimited max plan with annual upgrade promise with the iPhone 12 Pro, so I would be looking for something similar when it's upgrade time. Any help appreciated.

Vodafone will conduct a Credit Check if you apply for a contract.

Vodafone do Evo Plans now.

If you want a non evo type contract then places like Carphone Warehouse maybe able to help.

If you've been Credit Checked by Sky and declined then you may want to take a look at your Credit File via Experian to see if anything is on there that shouldn't be.

Also it's recommended to leave around 90 days between applying again to let your Credit Score recover.
