Urgent help for default to credit rating

Hi, can someone please private message me i have a defaulted payment marked on my

credit report of £29 that i have paid and its stopping me from securing a mortgage. I really need someones help as soon as possible. Thanks

Hi @Doming92 

The Vodafone Social Media Team's stopped private messaging people on the forum in relation to account based queries quite a while ago.

Now you'll have to contact them via Facebook or Twitter Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries. 

Paying the amount owed off is a positive step as this changes the status of the default from Outstanding to Settled.

However the default itself remains in situ for the remainder of the 6 years duration if the default was warranted.

Vodafone have a Duty of Care to report such cases on a person's Credit File for other potential lenders to be aware of.

The Vodafone Social Media Team's have a dedicated Credit File Specialist Team who can investigate the Default to see if it was indeed warranted. This is achieved by you speaking with the Social Media Team's.

I appreciate how damaging a default is from my own past personal experience so I wish you all the best with this.
