Voicemail keeps switching back on

I know you're supposed to be able to turn off voicemail by dialling 1210. I've done that and listened to the recording saying I've switched it off. But within a day it's back on again and I'm getting text messages alerting me to waiting voicemails. It's really annoying. I just don't want voicemail. How do I stop it turning back on??

Hi @wblomfield. We understand how troublesome this must be. To troubleshoot, can you please try clearing any unlistened to voicemails before turning off your voicemail service?

You can also type ##002# into your phone and then dial it like you would a phone number. It’s the network code to cancel all diverts so will stop calls routing to VM.
