I have just moved over from EE and taken out a new 24 months Vodafone contract whilst getting the new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I am set up on the network now and have moved my number over and my EE sim has been cancelled. Before purchasing the phone I checked my local area and it said I was in a full 5G area, I live in London. 2 days on from receiving the phone and I have no reception at all, the most I have got is one bar. I cannot receive any calls, make any or received any texts. After spending ages on the phone to Vodafone to sort out WiFi calling so I can actually use the phone and work I was told the handset is not yet a WiFi calling compatible item on the Vodafone network. Does anyone know how long it takes them to sort this out as I need it urgently.

Thank you for this. I'll get back on the chat because I'm currently waiting 24 hours.
Vodafone really need to train their staff properly because this seems like a basic request that they should know right away.

This worked for me too. I called three times. The this time, I insisted that they push the OTA settings and they did right away. Thanks for your help.
