I received an email with the Sim network unlock code, however the code did not work. I believe incorrect codes were entered and now it's hard locked. What would be the procedure in getting the phone unlocked now?

If the phone is hardlocked as a result from too many incorrect attempts then a Vodafone Highstreet Store would need to send it away for the counter to be reset @Oneriffman
