A Region Lock is typically removed via using the phone in the region it was released in with a local sim card and make a call for around 5 minutes.
Alternatively if the phone is locked to the Vodafone Uk network so you can only use a Vodafone sim card in it then https://www.vodafone.co.uk/vodafone-uk/forms/unlock-code-request/
