I have an iPad are 1 from a few years ago that I got of my aunt it’s locked but I’m not with Vodafone I’ve tried putting a different SIM in but it always says sim not supported so when I heard that every device is getting unlocked I was happy but my iPad is still locked

Hi @anon01
Did your auntie reset the iPad so you can input your own Apple ID.
Activation Lock for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
Ofcom are implementing that devices now need to be unlocked out of the box from December 2021.
In regards to unlocking the iPad is your non Vodafone sim card activated i.e connects to mobile data.
It shouldn't be locked.
If it's definitely locked to Vodafone then ask your auntie to fill out the unlock-code-request or you pick up a Vodafone Payg sim card and use that in the iPad for a short while and you fill out the Nuc using your new Payg information.
