My Vodafone doesn't remember the PIN

Every time I try to carry out some form of transaction on My Vodafone, instead of asking for my PIN it asks me to create a new one. No only is this annoying but it means there might as well not be a PIN as the security of the existing PIN has completely been lost - a malicious user doesn't need to know it.

Hey @M5000. Thanks for getting in touch with us about the current issues with your My Vodafone App. Can you please make contact with my team here and they'll be able to assist and look at trying to get you back into the App. 

I tried going through the chat as the other options aren't open to me.  I couldn't get the person to appreciate that even if the system has a PIN registered, if it asks me to generate a new PIN then the PIN security is non-existent as I can put in any number as long as I am able to put the same number in twice, which is hardly difficult.
