So I wonder how long the iPhone 12 back orders will take once announced I’m praying it’s different to previous years and they get sent at a reasonable time??

Hi @LeeBfc  good luck with the praying, I believe it will be the same as normal on all networks, some will be lucky and get them on time, some will have a delay.

Yeah I understand in a way but my first iPhone with Vodafone was the pro Max that seemed to take a lifetime to come before this I was always on o2 and always had the latest within a few days of release?

All networks have issues as demand is always above supply.  Just get your order in as soon as possible and hope for the best.

I'll be interested to see how everyone gets on this year! I ordered my phone through apple because I remember the complete fiasco last year when trying to order through Vodafone. Got my phone coming between November 2nd and November 9th.

Ordered from Apple as well. Delivery on Friday. Until OFCOM ban networks from locking phones (hopefully next year) then I'll buy direct.
