So I wonder how long the iPhone 12 back orders will take once announced I’m praying it’s different to previous years and they get sent at a reasonable time??

I think the saving grace here is the annual upgrade promise which doesn't exist on many other networks, if any. I know O2 offer an upgrade anytime policy but make you pay the remaining device plan upfront. With Vodafone there are no fees just return your old iPhone and upgrade. That's why I chose them really. Plus Vodafone offer 2 year warranty on iPhones...not that it matters as I intend to upgrade after 12 months anyway. Might as well make use of the annual upgrade promise aha! I mean who wouldn't?
But I would appreciate more clarification on exactly when I can expect my order. I do feel it's like a waiting game at the moment and I hate being in the dark.

It’s not worth it in terms of specification, I usually upgrade my phone every 2 years when it comes on iPhone. They usually release the same thing like this 11 and 12 it’s like they’re the same, that’s why I didn’t upgrade my Xs max to 11 pro max and I just jump right now to 12 pro max.
