Hi,
I am travelling to Mexico in a week and had hoped that I could add a a roaming pass, like the European passes, it appears I can't. I can use my plan for £6odd a day. I am considering an esim to us whilst I am away. However, do I need to get my phone unlocked for this to work? The info online isn't clear as I only want fhe esim for the week?
TIA

Vodafone supply phone's unlocked out of the box.
I personally would steer away from seeing if you can add an esim number while in another country roaming as they can be problematic to remove.
Also some Networks only provide an esim for a pay monthly type of contract.
Consider using a physical sim instead.

There should be no issue with buying one of the many travel type eSIMS that are on offer now, like there's a 5GB data for $32.50 a month one, buy it in the UK and it's ready to go when you land.
