I have a P40 Pro and the last update I received was in February with the February 2023 security patch.
This version has a bug where the keys on the keyboard get stuck for a few seconds.
When will Vodafone rollout the next software update? It's been 11 months now.
Huawei themselves have been releasing monthly updates for the device but my device is crippled because of Vodafone so cannot get updates unless Vodafone rolls them out.
Thanks.

That handset was released almost four years ago. If Vodafone haven’t released an update in the last 12 mo the then the chances are they have stopped supporting the device.

Thanks
I got the phone through a third party, does that mean once I inserted the Vodafone sim only updates will come through Vodafone?
Maybe I will send the phone to Huawei to update the device.

recommend reaching out to Vodafone's customer support. They should be able to provide information about their update schedule and any plans to address the keyboard issue you're facing.
In the meantime, you can also continue checking for updates manually on your device. Navigate to "Settings," then go to "System & updates" or a similar section, and check for software updates. This might allow you to receive updates directly from Huawei if they are available, even if Vodafone has not yet released them.

My P40 Pro+ is on a November 2023 security update. Every time I see an update I'm surprised they are still getting them.
Can't imagine Vodafone are doing much with Huawei nowadays. Is it running a Vodafone specific code then?

i really dont know. i was guessing i would receive the update from Huawei and not vodafone as the phone was sim free.
Now im stuck on this buggy version with no way to upgrade the device.
Possibly send it to Huawei to update the firmware for me.
