Photos don't appear in Gallery

Hi,

Just transferring photos to my Vodafone Smart Platinum 7 and I can't see them in "Gallery".

I can see them in Google Photos, so they are on the phone somewhere but I can't see them in Gallery.

There are a couple of suggestions worth trying in this article

Some Gallery apps don't scan the whole device.   Where are you putting the transferred photos?   I usualy recommend taking a pic on the new device, seeing where it puts that and then adding others to the same location.

Google Photos ranges wider, I think, but may also be looking at what you've sync'd with the service.

It may also be that the gallery app has the option to add folders to what it displays (my old HTC did that).

Gallery shows local files (files stored on your device) typically. 

Google Photos will show local and ones saved onto the Cloud. You can define what folders to backup in Google Photos settings too. 

In Google Photos settings, you can also Free up device storage which will delete any photos/videos stored on your device that have already backed up onto Google Photos.
