Has anyone come across problems with smartwatch connectivity on the One Number?
I have a Samsung Watch 4 LTE with One Number plan which I have tried paired with both a Samsung S9+ and a Samsung A05s phones and I get only intermittent use of text. Unless connected via bluetooth, the watch keeps losing connection with the phone (as I understand it needs internet connection with the phone for texting to work, although it doesn't need that to make calls).
Vodafone have not been convincing in trying to fix this: they have re-set the esim on the watch, replaced the phone sim, suggested turning it off and on again, etc. Any such reboot kickstarts a connection but it never lasts.
Anyone else having similar problems?
I would also love to hear from others that have a Samsung Watch 4 LTE working properly with One Number.
