Vodafone Smart First 6 pattern unlock without factory reset

Hi, 

I have an old phone that I have forgotten the pattern unlock for. It has VERY important data on it and I do NOT want to do a factory reset. 

This is such an old phone (approx. 2015) and it is a phone-newbie model with limited functionality....there MUST be a way.    PLEASE HELP

* have tried adding my Gmail.com e mail address and password AND tried resetting these - that does not work.

* I have tried 'find my phone' and it is not showing as visible. 

The phone is functional, the issue is just the pattern unlock.

Hi @Summerdayz101. Generally speaking, there are multiple methods to unlock your Vodafone Smart First 6 if you've forgotten your pattern lock - what method to opt for depends on you.

If you have security questions set up under your Google account security, then you will be able to unlock your device by answering these questions. Other methods (which you've already tried) include using your Gmail account and Google Find My Device. 

If none of the aforementioned methods work in your case, unfortunately you're left with the only option of performing a factory reset on your device. 

Just a side note, you may be able to recovery the important data on your device by downloading a data recovery program to a desktop. Although we can't advise on the specifics of this, it may be worth a research online.
