2 VSS, one won't accept more than one phone

Hi there hope you can help,

 

We live in a rural village with little normal coverage.  I have had a sure signal in my house for over a year - working fine.

 

At Xmas, we purchased a new sure signal for my parents who live round the corner.  This is also registered in my name with a different 'name ' but the same postcode.

 

My wife's and parents' phones are registered to my existing sure signal and work with that no problem, the new sure signal however ( a new style plug one) will only connect with my phone.

 

I have tried resetting the VSS, rebooting each of the 3 phones, deleting and re-adding the users but no joy so far....

 

The issue must be with the new VSS as the phones work with the old VSS.

 

The VSS has serial number:

I'd appreciate any help, does the VSS need resynced at vodafone's end?

Hi Duncandivers,

 

I added a user to my Sure Signal on Christmas Day morning, the owner of the newly added phone received an acknowleging SMS message within minutes, but it was almost a full two days before his phone was getting a 3G signal.

 

It can, therefore, take a while.

 

Could this be an explanation for your own difficulties?

 

If one phone (i.e. yours) already works, I would have thought a resync unnecessary.

I’ve checked our systems and can see that your Sure Signal (VSS) connected to our servers in the early hours of this morning. Can you confirm everything is now working for you? If not then we can resync the VSS as per your request.
