Hi Snook

Thanks for your post here, I've just checked this for you and the notes from the engineer are to indicate that everything is now resolved. Can you confirm this?

Thanks

Hello,
There is no 3g signal still.I have reinstalled the software and tried the 'view networks', but
it's only showing gprs  .

Hi snook,

I've just rechecked the case and further to Wayne's post the case has apparently been resolved. Are you able to put your SIM card into a phone and check whether that can pick up a 3G signal? Let me know what this shows and I'll investigate further as this is quite strange!

Thanks,

Adam

hi Snook

Yes indeed you'll be able to get this tested via one of our stores, they'll have no problem testing this out for you as well as verifying connectivity if need be, :)

You can view our Store locations using the store locator on the Vodafone website.Any further questions, please let us know.

Hello to all,
Tried the sim at the Vodafone shop and it picked up the 3g signal, but at home there is still no 3g signal  .Do you think the stick itself would be the cause or maybe updating the software would help. The software version is-9.3.5.11690.
Thank's snook.

Hi Snook,

I'd certainly suggest trying out the latest VMC software to check that there's nothing there affecting your connection. It's also something our tech teams will suggest if you're still having issues.

Can you also confirm if the sick gives the same result when tried in a different location? This will help to rule out if the network is still having issues.

Hello,
Tried the software update but still no 3g.I'm going to try the stick in my brother's laptop who is in Kentish Town but that won't be till next week.Just out of interest when I have tried 'view available networks' all the other network's show 3g being available, would that mean that my stick is working as far as being able to receive a 3g signal ?.

Thank's snook
