My 4G is not working on my iphone it is on 3g. i have selected 4G but it just doesnt work and is always 3G.

Hi,
Try turning airplane mode On and Off.
Does this happen at home or everywhere ?
Can you try your Sim Card in another phone as a process of elimination to rule out the phone or sim card that may be at fault.
Try another Sim in your phone.
If necessary any Vodafone Shop can replace the Sim Card via a Sim Swap.

The Vodafone Highstreet Store may test your SIM card in one of their in house phones.
They'll certainly be be able to replace your SIM card via a sim swap. Takes from a few minutes up to very occasionally 24 hours to complete. Service would stop on your original SIM card first and then insert the new sim and periodically turn the phone Off and On or turn Airplane Mode On and Off to help the process.
If your SIM card achieves 4G in another phone then if you have an Apple Store local let the Genius Bar employees run a diagnostic or if none local and Vodafone supplied the phone they can send it off.
They maybe able able to supply a courtesy phone if they have one in stock. Usually a basic phone or basic smartphone.
