Hi Alan,

It does sound more and more like the power supply is degrading.

Please have a read at the first post on this link and see what you think ........

How long has the Sure Signal been dormant while you were away on holiday ?

If over 3 months you may need to contact Customer support on 191 or Live Chat.

Current Phone  >

Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra 512gb.

We were away for 28 days but had people staying in the house so was plugged in at all times. Was flashing on my return but usually resets itself but has not for 48hrs now so I have no signal on my mobile at all

Ok I thought I'd just ask.

If you have not already then Please take a look through these Sure Signal Trouble Shooting threads :

https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/Vodafone-Sure-Signal-troubleshooting/td-p/23917...

http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/Troubleshooting-Please-read-before-posting/td-p/...

as these may help to resolve issues. They have links to the key things you can do to try and self resolve the issue you are experiencing.

It may also be worth trying a different power supply with the SureSignal (Version 1 & 2 ), as there have been some reports of replacement power supplies solving the issues. They are available on eBay for around £10.

Customer service support-> Call 03333 040 191 then take option 2 three times and finally option 5 – straight to the Sure Signal team.

To note the Sure Signal Device comes with a 24 month warranty.

Hi Alan,

Does the 4th. light continuously flash or does it eventually stop with all lights briefly flashing before going through the booting up procedure again?  .... a looping or cycling effect over and over!

If this is the case, you do require a new power supply.

Regards,

Mike.

The main sequence is top 2 lights permanently on and the 4th one on every now and then. I have done another re set as asked to do but come home tonight and it is still no good. Can I presume version 2 and 3 are much better? I have no mobile at all without it and need it to work. I only have a couple of months left on my contract so may switch to EE and have WI FI calling.

Cheers

Depending on what handset you have, WiFi Calling may already be available.

Hi Mike

Just got in from work and used my old BT Hub power lead and it has fired straight up. Really grateful. Top man. None of the Vodafone Tech peolple would acknowledge and kept saying it would come back!

Top man

Thanks

Alan
